Kerene Begg is the Founder and CEO of Kerendor International, a boutique executive search firm specialised in delivering the next generation of business leaders in Asia Pacific. Her international reputation has been built through more than two and a half decades of experience with leading global retained executive search firms, focusing exclusively on finding the right executives in this culturally complex and ascendant region, and by working at the heart of the C-suite.
International focus
Kerendor International’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, and a diverse portfolio of multinational corporations that have important operations across the Asia Pacific region. Kerene has been primarily based inHong Kong and Sydney, but also established and ran a successful search firm in Jakarta for more than five years. A hallmark of Kerendor International’s work is finding the highest quality candidates for senior domestic, regional and international positions located across the Asia Pacific Region. Proven experience
Kerene has worked continuously in the retained search industry since 1988, and formed her own firm based out of Hong Kong in 2011 in order to capitalize on her regional expertise. Her focus is always on her clients’ needs, and in finding the right candidates both from within the more established arenas, and also from outside the conventional avenues.
As a mark of her comfort level in the Asia Pacific region, in addition to her mother tongue of English, Kerene speaks good Cantonese and is conversant in Bahasa Indonesia.
